Mission:
The Health Gap ignites dialogue about social conditions, access to care issues and health care system problems through education, training and community outreach. We hope to improve disease prevention while promoting healthier eating and enhancing quality of life for all communities.
" I am proud to say all of my goals and objectives were met. The Center for Closing the Health Gap was an excellent host and I would recommend them to other students looking for a very hands on internship experience. I was able to attend many meetings and I really felt a part of team and I added value and gained experienced. Photo-voice projects were my favorite, it really gave residents a chance to speak on how they felt about conditions in their own communities. "
